At Motion Composites, Claude Maack oversees production operations with a focus on engineering excellence, driving workflow optimization and ensuring the highest standards of product quality and performance.A mechanical engineer by training, Claude is also the founder and principal force behind Gradel, a Luxembourg-based company specializing in automated special machinery for high-precision industries such
as nuclear, space, and sputtering target production.Since taking the helm, Claude has transformed Gradel into a leader in lightweight manufacturing. He spearheaded innovations like Gradel Robotic Additive Manufacturing (GRAM) and launched GRADEL Lightweight in 2022 to advance ultra-light, sustainable structures for industrial applications. Under his leadership, Gradel also formed a strategic alliance with Data Design Engineering (DDE) to integrate AI into engineering workflows—strengthening the company’s focus on sustainability, efficiency, and alignment with
the UN’s net zero goals. In 2025, Gradel presented its AI-enhanced additive manufacturing technologies at CES, reinforcing its status as a European leader in intelligent systems for the Defence sector and beyond.Claude combines deep technical expertise with strategic foresight to drive innovation, elevate quality, and shape the future of advanced manufacturing.

Martin Osswald
Commercial Development & Financial Planning
At Motion Composites, Martin Osswald is responsible for commercial development and financial planning, focusing on building a solid operational and financial foundation to support the company’s growth.
With over 25 years of experience in aviation and carbon fiber technologies, Martin combines a background in engineering with extensive financial expertise. He played a key role in the development of MO Carbon GmbH in Wallerstein, known for its work in advanced fiber winding and composite design across automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications.
His experience includes managing investment planning and financial operations, as well as contributing to technically complex projects such as Munich’s “Mae West” sculpture and carbon fiber installations featured at Expo 2020 Dubai.
Martin’s work reflects a thoughtful balance between technical precision and long-term commercial planning, contributing to the advancement of composite applications in both engineering and infrastructure.

Lutz Riedel
Advanced Composites Materials Innovation & Engineering
At Motion Composites, Lutz Riedel leads the development of cutting-edge composite solutions, ensuring
the company remains at the forefront of innovation, performance, and technical excellence. With over three decades of industry experience, Lutz brings a rare blend of deep material expertise, precision engineering,
and entrepreneurial drive.He began his career with a rigorous apprenticeship in injection mold construction at Ruthmann & Horn in Nuremberg, later gaining hands-on experience in mold manufacturing and customer project management.
After completing his military service, Lutz took over his family’s business, Riedel Helmut Galvanotechnik,
where he specialized in galvanic surface treatment and metal finishing, successfully leading the company until its sale in 2008.Since then, he has focused on composite materials, founding 77 Motion Composites UG, where he has pioneered advanced carbon fiber manufacturing techniques, including CNC machining, CAD-based engineering, and high-performance material design.
Lutz’s technical leadership bridges traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation, making him a driving force behind Motion Composites’ reputation for quality, precision, and forward-thinking engineering.

Philippe Gruber
Strategic Partnerships
At Motion Composites, Philippe Gruber focuses on developing strategic partnerships that leverage emerging industry innovation to build a distinctive and future-ready market proposition.
Recognized as a prominent figure in Luxembourg’s business landscape, Philippe has built an extensive network across Europe and has successfully orchestrated high-level deals across sectors including property and construction, IT & telecoms, and logistics. His talent for navigating complex negotiations and driving strategic collaborations is a hallmark of his career.
With over 17 years of experience in corporate strategy and sustainability, Philippe has served on the boards
of nine companies and previously advised regulatory bodies on fair competition and market integrity.Fluent in five languages and shaped by a multicultural European background, he brings a global perspective and local insight to every initiative. Philippe holds a master’s degree in Arts and History of Arts from the University of Strasbourg, offering a unique analytical lens to strategic leadership.

Adam Wais
Advanced Materials & Product Strategy
At Motion Composites, Adam Wais drives innovation in composite materials, shaping product strategy and collaborating closely with engineering teams to optimize material performance and application. His expertise ensures that cutting-edge composites remain central to the company’s commitment to excellence in design and manufacturing.
Adam is the co-founder of Rolo Bikes, a premium carbon composite bicycle company with operations in Sweden and Luxembourg. Rolo is one of the only composite bicycle frame manufacturers outside of Asia and developed all of its own proprietary engineering and production tools. Known for producing some of the world’s most advanced road racing frames, Rolo exemplifies Adam’s ability to merge engineering precision, supply chain management with bold product vision.
Adam began his career in diplomacy, serving as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer at embassies in Stockholm, Brussels, and Sarajevo. He holds a BA and MBA from the University of Chicago and brings a global perspective shaped by his upbringing in Luxembourg and Paris.

As co-founder of Bazaars, she is pioneering a blockchain-based, peer-to-peer marketplace that bridges traditional commerce with decentralized technologies. Her work is redefining financial access and trust in global trade, particularly in emerging economies.
